  We removed welding from dampers and replaced it with nuts and bolts. In nature of butterfly dampers it is important to take care of flange flatness and material. Welding has a great impact on this feature. So it is a great improve and it leads to time reduction in product line and improves performance. I am looking for patent this idea out too.
