This included (i) building the capacity of the baseline survey enumerators focusing on victim blaming and high prevalence of violence against women (VAW) inside marriages, (ii) providing expert advice for the curriculum development of 39 episodes of a radio series on Intimate Partner Violence (IPV), (iii) working as the gender expert for the radio program, (iv) building the capacity of radio program listening group facilitators in addressing the social norms, attitudes, and behaviors that perpetuate women and girls’ lower status, and (v) facilitating workshops with local level religious and community leaders to create an enabling environment to help reduce IPV in particular and VAW in general.
