  Reporting to the Director of Advancement Initiatives, as an Advancement Initiatives Assistant I’m responsible for composing brand-identified content for multiple audiences, including prospective donors, individuals, corporations, and foundations. These print and digital communications include stewardship materials and other donor-related items.Key Responsibilities Include:- Developing persuasive content for advancement correspondence.- Designing items for targeted audiences that adhere to philanthropic brand standards.- Collaboration with Advancement officers and Advancement Services teams to help meet their communications goals including timely and appropriate acknowledgements, reports, and donor correspondence.- Obtaining signatures and or footnotes for letters as needed.- Contributing content to the content bank and index accordingly.- Working closely with Advancement officers and internal teams to develop new and innovative ways in which donors and their philanthropy can be celebrated and stewarded.- Research and apply best practices for advancement support. - Learning fundraising systems and principles.- Ensuring proper reporting or updates of all donor correspondence, information changes or biographical updates. - Tracking correspondence across colleges and units.Prevent oversaturation of donors from multiple converging requests.- Contributing to project plans and tracking where appropriate.- Participating, strategizing and problem solving in collaboration with the advancement communications team.
