Working on various projects both alone and in a team, my day to day tasks involve answering questions surrounding efficiency and performance of the various marketing channels within the business through data extraction, processing and manipulation with the use of software such as Alteryx. Often i will present findings within the Marketing department by utilising data visualisations and dashboards created in Tableau, with the aim of reviewing campaign performance and influencing the allocation of the marketing budget in future campaigns. As well as ad hoc analytical projects, I have also worked on producing presentations surrounding customer segmentation, performance across geographies and environmental developments within the business, as well as being tasked with producing customer survey questionnaires, analysing their results and presenting findings. I am also responsible for building and managing Tableau dashboards, strongly developing these skills. Most recently, I’ve been involved in a project working alongside senior staff members for other companies under the Parent group, providing valuable insight by investigating data surrounding our Online Appointment Requests to help identify the appointments our customers are most likely to book through use of data manipulation. Off the back of this analysis, real changes have been made within the company to prioritise ensuring that these slots are being achieved, influencing changes in process, all of which I have reported on using test and control analysis, the result of which was clear additional revenue being brought into the company. As well as this, I have produced valuable insights which have helped inform the need for a change of tactics surrounding poorly performing product by assessing key changes in the business in recent years and evaluating their impacts on product performance. I’ve gained valuable experience as i presented this data to senior staff members within the company.

Having passed my graduate program with Allocate, I was promoted to a permanent role as Insight Analyst, taking on more responsibility as was now offered the chance to take a lead role in specific projects working with NHS Trusts to try and provide workforce insights with the aims of reducing their costs through data analysis reporting. This role has strongly developed my skills using Microsoft Excel as well as Tableau. My role involves creating monthly engagement reports for clients using Tableau and has also developed my Excel Data Analysis skills whilst working on Adhoc projects, all of which are then presented to various stakeholders. This has strongly developed not only my analytical skills, but also consulting abilities as I have often presented to senior individuals and on occasion more than 20 people at a time as well as working on a Growthathon project which involved creating a new product, gaining valuable experience in project management and resiliance as this involved presenting to various teams around the company such as Sales, finance, marketing and much more.• Developed Leadership Skills as I have taken a lead role on Improvement Programs with clients, developing reports, managing and delegating workloads. This has strongly developed my time management also, as I have had to balance these extra curricular programs alongside my regular job of monthly reporting and calls to 8 clients.• Strong skills using Tableau for data presentation and visualisation whilst also developing problem solving skills and improvement as I have often had to take reports away and come up with new ideas of presenting data in a manor that suits the client’s needs after discussing what they specifically would like to see from their data.

I am part of a small team of 5 in which each individual manages their own respective system as well as being fluent in the other team member’s systems so that we can cooperate together when necessary in order to effectively meet our targets of managing the workflow within the supplier master team. I am responsible for the continuous management of the Microsoft Dynamics AX System, but have also been trained to cover other systems such as Oracle and Navision. The role involves proactively liaising with suppliers and other departments within the finance team such as accounts payable in order to ensure the accurate and timely analysis of supplier’s data during the set up process.

A 6 week internship which involved producing a huge Excel database of the company’s revenue generating activities by cleansing and organising the data, then mapping this against costs in order to provide valuable insights for forecasting. The first two weeks of the project involved producing the data by taking physical timesheets from the business and inputting this into Excel as a lot of the departments within the company were still tracking data via paper. During this first 2 weeks, I also engaged in Excel analytic tools learning which would then be used in my second two weeks in which I would test different methods of analysis to produce useful findings for the company that could help them with the forecasting of optimal levels of inputs for future events. The final 2 weeks was then spent producing a report which to be presented to the finance manager and chief of finance about my findings and recommendations.

This job involved answering the phone on behalf of over 2000 of the company’s client companies and taking their calls to assist customers. I was placed in a fast paced environment in which I had to quickly multitask and respond to new calls which could range from sales and accessing company portals to emergency calls. I gained a variety of knowledge in different industries such as oil, property, health, consumer as I was answering phone calls for companies within all of these sectors. My responsibility was to assist callers and as I was excellent at my job, i was also given responsibility to assist training new starters. I gained excellent communication skills within this role and the ability to engage effectively with different people as well as boosting my IT skills. In my first few months working at Answer4u, i have received excellent feedback for my performance. I recently achieved 100% in my 1 to 1 feedback in back to back months for January and February and was also awarded Employee of the Month for the month of January as recognition for my positive attitude towards work, evidenced by perfect punctuality and attendance since having started the job.

Location: DG House - Head Office, Little Tennis Street, NG24ELRole- Working at DG Cars my main role was to take bookings as a telephone operative. In doing so, I gained an excellent competency in successfully multitasking on a computer, whilst performing other various tasks such as delivering excellent customer service and using bespoke software. In addition to taking bookings, i was also required to take card payments, either sometimes using the inbuilt card system on the computer, or an external card terminal. In doing so, i have developed responsible habits such as ensuring data protection compliances are in place. At DG’s remote offices, i would be expected to take individual responsibility of my job as i would be on the front line without any manager or supervisor to aid me and would deal with customer queries face to face as opposed to over the phone. This helped to develop my customer service skills in a live scenario, not only through the many complaints i would handle whilst working on the phones. I developed the ability to work well under pressure as the volume of calls coming in to the call centre on friday / saturday nights was enormous, there was hardly a moments rest in the fast paced environment, this developed my multitasking skills greatly. In addition to this, Other roles included working on reception at the base, which further enhanced my multi tasking skills as i was expected to fulfil my usual role of taking telephone bookings, whilst taking messages, dealing with clients who would come in for meetings as well as the collections and delivering of documents.Over my time at DG Cars, i developed a lot of responsibility, and eventually i was handed the task of assisting new recruits in their training by mentoring and assisting them in their first few weeks, providing live customer service training.
