A unique opportunity to work in a community-based hospital and serve the Bronx community. Our patients' were mostly immigrants from south America. At Lincoln, we took care of the patients the same way that we would like our family to be taken care of. The most important lesson from Lincoln Hospital: A doctor can make much difference in a person's life by spending enough time to educate the patient and family. I worked on four cohorts and clinical trials in the lab and am responsible for analyzing PET/CT scans of patients. I should develop new quantification methods for measuring atherosclerosis and brain dysfunction with PET/CT images.
