• Developed a procedure for procurement of firefighting foam to fulfill the requirements of DOC 9137 P1, NFPA 412, and UL162, and it has been led to a change in the type of foam concentrate from PF to AFFF to meet the ICAO level B foam requirement, in all IAC Airports.• Revised minimum technical requirement for ARFF equipment procurement such as fire vehicles and extinguishing agents.• Updated the initial ARFF training curriculum to match the requirements of ICAO Course111 (1980 edition), annex 14, DOC 9137 P1, and NFPA 403.• Developed recurrent ARFF training program consists of 57 short courses. Fortunately, most of them are currently being held.• Introduced the first ARFF personnel competency program procedure, approved by CAA.IRI, which led to licensing of hundreds of firefighters.• Co-author of ICAS114 which has been presented in 2010 by CAA.IRI as a National Standard in the scope of Annex14, also wrote 4 Civil Aviation Directives (CAD3314, 3514, 3614 and 3714). • Participated in ICAO’s USOAP in 2010 as a member of the IAC representative team.• Designed a system to adopt new procedures consisting of MOPs and SOPs for both staff and line.• Established and led ARFF department committee of regulations, which successfully introduced 14 Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and 1 Manual of Procedures (MOP).• Revised more than 80 AEP as a member of IAC committee of AEP and co-author of the new template.• Updated dozens of Aerodrome Manuals and ARFF Local Procedure Manuals.• Evaluated more than 100 AEP exercises (full-size, partial, and tabletop) of different size airports from domestic to international all over the country.• Audited dozens of airports in cooperation with CAA.IRI for aerodrome certification program. • Trained hundreds of firefighters in dangerous goods, fire chemistry, and extinguishing agents.
