Pressure problem in kettle type Steam Reboilers in gas sweetening section led to a 100% steam-vent-valve opening of the reboilers and ended in massive steam loss. Improved the plant efficiency by approximately $1 million/year (5%).• Effectively resolved the off-gas fluctuation problem in Rich Amine K.O. drum which could cause hazardous situations.
