  As Education Coordinator I strive to educate children and adults about prosthetics and the engineering involved in making prosthetics. I lead a team of 10 engineers and as a team we visit schools, science centres and kids clubs to engage in fun and educational activities whilst destigmitising prosthetics. As well as school visits the education team have hosted university fusion 360 sessions, helping students of Glasgow learn the software. We also participate in events at science centres, with the most recent being British Science Week at the Glasgow Science Centre. Show less

  In the summer of 2022, I overshadowed a range of different engineers and Global E&C. Working here allowed me to experience working in a professional work environment. Whilst working at Global E&C I helped develop the company wide competency forms, helped update the surveying courses for apprentices and was involved in completing structural calculations for the decommision of an oil rig.
