Windows 10 – Core Universal App Platform - Enabled apps to run on every form of windows - phone, desktop, Xbox. - Designed and implemented client and server components that were responsible for launching apps. - Enhanced the existing app state-machine to a component model that can run on all different forms of Windows. Windows 8.1 – Settings App - Implemented the network connection experience on the XAML based PC Settings app. - Developed various handlers for PC settings including Wi-Fi/mobile broadband, Ethernet, and general connectivity. - Designed a lightweight and efficient data model layer which formed a bridge between the old Windows network services and the new WinRT XAML app. Windows 8 – Mobile Broadband - Developed the WinRT SMS API that enabled modern apps to send and receive SMS text messages. - Designed the API with security features such that only trusted apps from cellular providers had ‘privileged’ access. - Built background notification channels that would wake the PC messenger app for incoming SMS. - Implemented the GSM and CDMA encoder and decoder.
