Sabrina was the Project Manager on an Engineering Design Project, for which I was the Academic Supervisor, to develop a Functional Electrical Stimulation system and development rig. This was an extremely ambitious project, given the timescale, for a group of 2nd year Bioengineers but the team were adamant to step up to the challenge. Sabrina as Project Manager showed a high level of maturity, guiding her team through development issues, arranging meetings with experts in the field and ensuring the project deliverables were met on target. Her maturity and Project Management skills are well-matched by her technical capabilities (her ability to comprehend new concepts and complex systems goes well beyond my own understanding of the project, particularly on the electronics and software side) and also her tenacity. I have been keen to see Sabrina's progression since completing this project, as have many of my colleagues. I am confident that Sabrina is going to have a positive impact on the world, whichever sector she decides to pursue.
