During my time as a volunteer with the Office of Experiential Education at McMaster University, I reported directly to Sabrina - who was responsible for supervising me. From our time together Sabrina always demonstrated superb leadership and time management skills. She was able to always successfully plan in advance meetings and organize time sensitive components for each of the events we were apart of. She is a kind, courteous and highly professional individual. She always put passion into each of the projects we assisted with in the office (such as Networking breakfasts, and an anniversary celebration just to list two brief examples). she was a skilled leader because she did her best to ensure not only her success, but the success of myself and the other volunteers in the office. Being a student at times my schedule may have been difficult to compromise with but, Sabrina always made an effort to accommodate for my studies first and spoke to the importance of this. She was an excellent and supportive supervisor, and I’m thankful for my experiences shared with her during our time at the Office of Experiential Education.

I worked with Sabrina at the Diversity Institute since October 2018. Although we were in different teams, I was able to witness Sabrina's process of how she treated clients and operated as the Internship Coordinator. She is an extremely caring and genuine person who has done an exceptional job at matching individuals with internship and career opportunities. She takes the time to listen to the needs of her clients and ensures they leave with exactly what they came for. Whether it's resume building, interview practice, or applying directly to jobs, Sabrina is the image of professionalism and her process includes an empathetic approach to the diverse needs of her client base. I would highly recommend Sabrina's services to anyone looking for jobs or simply looking to improve on their job search toolkit.
