  I was born and raised in New York City, but have made my home in Miami Beach for the past 17 years. I was first introduced to yoga while living in Mexico City in my early twenties. It was there that I discovered the positive impact of yoga on my life, both mentally and physically. I founded Kanekshun to help others to discover their best complete selves.   As the senior leader at the Miami flagship store for the world's most recognized yoga lifestyle brand, I had the opportunity to make a huge impact on both the community and the team. While I am proud of our sales revenues for a specialty retail store ($7M+) and the number of customers we served (over 250k/year), my most remarkable contribution was moving our employee turnover from 50% to 3% - almost unheard of in the retail category.
