      The French-Australian Chamber is an independent not-for-profit organisation governed by 19 Board of Directors and comprising more than 600 members.       F.A.N.S. (French speaking Association of the North Shore) is the not-for-profit association funding and organising the French bilingual program at the Killarney Heights Public School. The program started in 1999, and received, in 2012, the Label FrancEducation, an accreditation granted by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The association employs 14 full time French native speaking teachers to work at school with their Australian colleagues. The program offers bilingual education to 250 French speaking children and 400 English speaking children. The association also offers language classes to 100 French speaking adolescents and manage a calendar of social activities.
