  • Teach pupils from varied ages and backgrounds. This includes GSCE students and children taking the 11+ exam • Manage the day to day operations, this included opening and closing the centre, aiding in staff recruitment, taking payments and dealing with phone and face to face queries from customers. I have experience working in small enterprises such as a property lettings agency, a local convenience store and a tuition center. This has given me invaluable knowledge about the importance of building relationships and reputation, which is key in any successful business. In my current position as a part-time tutor and office administrator at a local tuition center, I have a key role in the office management. This involves creating and updating invoices for customers and managing the information system. The tuition center is a small business and I have been able to build a strong rapport with clients which has enhanced engagement between fee paying customers and tutors. I have been able to model positive customer service skills to the team, which has increased clientele. This in turn required recruiting more tutors. I have supported the recruitment procedure by filtering CV’s and making recommendations as part of the interview process.
