As Research Scholar, I worked in Molecular and chemical biology of Cell division. Our team was working on multiple research namely: 1. Investigating the role of Kinesin13 and Kinesin14 motor proteins in the regulation of microtubule dynamics and cell cycle progression. For these purpose, we used classical (CRISPR tool) and Chemogenomic (chemical modulators) approach combined with Confocal microscopy tools across the various cell types like U2OS, HeLa, Nalm6, KOPT1 and RPE1 cells. 2. Identification and validation of synthetic lethal candidates of Microtubule targeting drugs. For this purpose, first, we used the high throughput chemogenomic screening to identify the synthetic lethal candidates. Second, we validated those candidates by Knocking out them using CRISPR tool in different cell types and perform cell based proliferation assay to study the synthetic lethal interactions. Third, we also used microscopy based assay to evaluate the cell division phenotype associated with the knockout and synthetic lethal interaction. Show less
