Turn Your Concern Into Action (TYCIA) Foundation, is a registered not-for-profit organisation founded in 2011 out of two college friends’ disquiet at seeing undocumented children who were not enrolled in the schools. Thus, the organisation's first project was born in the form of a bridge learning centre offering formal education to ‘never been to the school’ children. Since then, diverse programs have been developed, always keeping special focus on the neglected communities. From tribal bridge-school programs to enhancement of agricultural productivity of tribal farmers, STEM education in govt. schools, to micro-entrepreneurship model with Kashmiri women. During the pandemic, TYCIA has played an instrumental role in delivering oxygen to families in need, and trained human resources to hospitals. TYCIA has also founded and managed a collective providing ration kits, vaccination support, and healthcare access to rural communities across 18 states. To date, over 100,000 lives, including 20,000 people have been directly impacted by programs of the organisation. Our goal is to contribute to building a nation where all people can gain equitable access to attain quality education, healthcare and livelihood opportunities, and where all the communities can realise their full potential and inequalities are minimised.
