    • 100 - 200 Employee
    • Financial Administrator
      • Oct 2015 - Present

During my previous position at Picup, I brought the fact that I had previously worked at SARS and have an interest in finance, to the CEO's attention. It was at this stage that I was asked to be the financial administrator for the company. I now handle driver salaries, reconciliation of payments, driver queries regarding payment and client queries regarding their accounts, the invoicing to clients and payments to creditors. In addition to all of this, I send out driver payment structures every week.

    • Receptionist
      • Sep 2015 - Oct 2015

This was my first position at Picup. I handled all the administrative aspects i.e. answering calls, calling drivers, setting up orientation dates, setting up for driver training, etc.

    • Government Administration
    • 700 & Above Employee
    • Debt Management

For SARS, I managed the collection of all outstanding taxes. It started with a courtesy call in which we would explain to the tax payer that he/she had an amount outstanding. Next, came payment negotiation resulting in either full payment or a payment plan. Next, If the tax payer wasn't compliant, a final demand would be issued to the tax payer. Next, if the tax payer was still non-compliant, there would be judgement issued and lastly, a warrant of execution would be issued. For SARS, I managed the collection of all outstanding taxes.
