  Working for the Technology and Infrastructure Department. The detailsof my achievements/responsibilities are as follows: Senior Network Operations/Connectivity Engineer for supporting all Asia and Europe/USWAN/MAN/LAN, Stock Exchanges and Client Connectivity to provide services for Market Data,FIX, Wombat etc. Responsible for the Design and Configuration for locally provided Hosting Space for theClient Servers getting Market Data Feeds from our network. Designated as the Project Manager for the migration the BT Turrets from TDM to IP basedcommunication in Tokyo. Lehman Brothers Tokyo was the first entity within Lehman GlobalOffices to go forward in changing the existing TDM based BT Turret system to IP. Alltechnical configuration, documentation, project plan and testing were successfullycompleted by me. We were the first ones to perform this change in all Lehman Brothersworldwide business offices. This success was a big achievement and was duly acknowledged. Provided trouble isolation and testing capabilities for all Layer 3, QoS, RoutingProtocols and Hardware Configuration. Responsible for the Interconnections of the ATM, MPLS Networks between NTT and OtherService Providers to expand our services across continents. Emergency maintenance Engineer in case of MPLS Core Router breakdowns in any part ofthe world. This task included the coordination with the Local Engineer to replace thefaulty hardware and reconfigure all services on the broken hardware with keeping leastpossible downtime in consideration.Later I was transferred to the Network Design and Integration Solutions Department.The main responsibilities were: Maintenance, support and troubleshooting the customer MPLS, ATM and FR circuits inaddition to the complete administration of all router configurations. VoIP Network design, configuration and support for more than 200 customer sitesspanning to the whole Asian continent. EIGRP and BGP Design and Maintenance by utilizing multiple redundant paths with respectto the customer location and on quite a few occasions providing multiple and completelyseparate redundant paths to applications according to their priority. End to End commissioning of customer Network in Asia for high security applications byusing IPSEC over the MPLS VPN and also defining QoS policies for them.

Thebrief details of projects provisioned during that time are as follows: WAN Setup, design and configuration in Indonesia for Internet VPN b/w JGC YokohamaOffice and Project Site Office. It included the configuration of the Cisco Routers androuting infrastructure (OSPF) with Netscreen Firewalls for VPN and Security. Additionally,Configuration of Cisco Access Servers providing Dialup Access to the Project Site. WAN Setup Upgrade for IPVPN b/w JGC Yokohama and JGC UK Office. The scope of workincluded preparation of security policy, configuration of hardware and servers etc. WAN Upgrade of the JGC Office in Netherlands which included the preparation of securitypolicy, configuration of PIX Firewalls, Routers, routing protocols and remote managementof the hardware. Installation of Bahrain Petroleum Company Project Site Internet VPN with NetscreenFirewall Network in including all data and voice communication configuration. Installation and Configuration of Netscreen 50 firewall and DMZ for Project in Qatar.The scope of work also included the establishment of Internet VPN and Configuration ofData/VoIP Services using OKI BV1500.I was responsible for the end to end execution of the project staring from the budgeting,design, procurement and WAN circuit arrangement with Local Service Providers. Completecommissioning of the IPLCs and finally on site work for Installation, configuration,testing and Handover of all Hardware and Services. It also included the further off shoresupport from the Yokohama World Operations Centre to all sites sites and offices.
