Corrosion ■ Study for failure cases that is due to corrosion and provide the ways to prevent repetitions of like failure cases ■ Complete reports and documentation to maintain historic information of equipment. ■ Maintain the Installation Corrosion Monitoring and Mitigation policies. ■ Follow up the cathodic protection system by taking periodically CP reading for all plant areas and identify areas/sectors with low protection potential. ■ Interpreted the CP reading and ensure the remedy action to overcome the low potential areas/sectors. ■ Corrosion monitoring of pipe flow lines by Corrosion Coupon Survey, Sand probe survey and UT thickness measurement. ■ Follow up and studies of Chemical injections and chemical treatment. ■ Monitoring of export lines, trunk lines and road crossing lines, wellheads and equipment by cathodic protection (Sacrificial anode & impressed current method). ■ Identify the type of corrosion/deterioration to the equipment or piping & initiate appropriate monitoring methods in consultation with Process & Corrosion Groups. Inspection ■ Conduct In-Service Inspection of Piping, Pressure Vessels and Storage Tanks at Oil and Gas Well Head, Oil Process Platform, Gas Treatment Plant and Water Injection Plant. Conduct internal, external planned & unplanned inspections on all static equipments. ■ Optimize inspection work and activity using techniques including RBI. ■ Write and review inspection reports, assess results, fit for purpose for equipments, update strategies according risk based inspection. ■ Review and evaluation of all NDT / Ultrasonic Thickness reports and recommend for repair, replacement or de-rating of equipment and piping. ■ Evaluation of corroded piping and pipe lines to determine its remaining strength. ■ Calculate the corrosion rate, remaining life in order to fix the inspection frequency. ■ Highlight the anomaly if any found during inspection and report.
