I undertook a placement with BBC Radio Lancashire, and over the course of this placement I focused largely on my interviewing skills, questioning members of the public on various social & political events, for the production of Vox Pops for the following days broadcast. Upon returning to the studio I would then edit these, enhancing my audio-editing skills and knowledge of different editing software. I also contributed to daily morning feature meetings, in providing topical and local news features that could be discussed on air or online, which helped me to quickly source newsworthy stories that were in-keeping with the values of the BBC, and their audiences.
