I worked with Sébastien closely for over six years during the formation of the RSB standards, where he was at first the Environmental Impacts Manager, and later the Global Standards Director. Seb is a thoughtful and serious colleague with an eye to details and an excellent ability to process complex technical issues, while keeping his mind on the big picture implications. He is an excellent communicator, and a pleasure to work with. Besides his native French, he also speaks English flawlessly, and his Spanish is at an advanced, professional level. Any organization in our field would be lucky to have him.

Sébastien was a delight to work with at the Roundtable on Sustainable Biofuels. He is smart, hard-working, and always calm under pressure, and he never hesitated to pick up the phone or hop on a plane to get something moving. His training in life-cycle assessments means that he gets the big picture and understands the ripple effects that policy and investment decisions can have. He is very personable and can find a way to connect with practically anyone - from a small community group in Brazil to a large multi-national company. I definitely recommend him!
