The primary objective of these projects is to create high performing teams - from the C-suite to the frontline. For the last 15 years, Ryan has led and designed large change initiatives with Fortune 1000 clients across numerous global industries. For each of these projects, Ryan has led and contributed to executive team alignment work, executive coaching and the transferring of expertise around high performing team development. His client consulting projects include multi-year engagements with companies like General Motors, Walmart, Duke Energy, US Bank, the Walt Disney Company, Nike Inc., PETRONAS. In each of these organizations, Ryan has worked with the executive leadership teams and led project teams to introduce and sustain the needed changes within their organization. Ryan lived internationally in Europe for eleven years and is conversant in Italian where he lived for seven years. He received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and his MBA from the Keller School of Management. Ryan is also a member of the USA Volleyball Hall of Fame as an All-Time Great Player. He is the proud parent of three boys. He and his wife live in San Diego, California. Show less

Ryan started his professional career in 1997, touring with the USA Volleyball team, and he went on to compete in three Olympic Games. In 2008, he helped the USA win their first Olympic Volleyball Gold Medal in twenty years at the Olympic Games in Beijing. He also competed in four World Cups, two World Championships, five World League Finals, and four Olympic Qualification Tournaments. Ryan's professional career granted him the opportunity to travel the world extensively, living in six different countries around the world including: Italy (Ryan speaks fluent Italian), Poland, Russia, Turkey, Puerto Rico and visiting many other countries representing the USA, giving Ryan a unique insight into diverse cultures. Ryan has performed in front of hundreds of millions watching on television and in front of twenty thousand plus fans, he has a tremendous presence and comfort in front of crowds. Was the starting middle blocker during the 2000 Sydney Australia Games (11th place finish), the 2004 Athens Greece Games (4th place finish), and the 2008 Beijing China Games (1st place finish). I have played in 3 World Championships, 4 World Cups, and 4 Olympic Qualifying tournaments. Named USA Volleyball Male Indoor Player of the Year in 2007.
