Ryan held a position that was best for his personality. All of the students knew him and participated in all the events that he held for current students and young alumni, bringing useful insight and energy to any event. I had the privilege of serving on Ryan's Young Alumni Council. On this council, a group of young alumni served to help figure out different ways to engage young alumni with their Alma mater and current students. Ryan was the creator of the Council and always used his creative ideas to come up with ways to achieve our goals. During our meetings, Ryan would inform those on the council of updates of what was taking place at the University. Ryan not only used his creative thoughts, but also empowered others on the council, by encouraging us to come up with different ideas and host to host events in our respective areas.
