I managed Ryan for 18 months and his social selling ability was head and shoulders above anyone I had ever met! Ryan worked across many campaigns with multiple clients and when the persona that Ryan was targeting was responsive on LinkedIn then Ryan was like a sniper and delivered every time. Ryan was also very helpful within the team and offered his knowledge to all.

Ryan and I worked together at Excelerate360 and performed the role of my buddy when I initially joined. Ryan opened my mind to various different ways of selling and added many strings to my bow. I can only say Ryan is a an excellent sales professional and will always add value.

When I was looking for a new role I was hoping to find an organisation that was disrupting the current email marketing status quo and doing something new within the UK data industry, and I'm delighted to say that I've struck gold with Data HQ. We share the same goals for lead generation and social selling; 1. Smash old data buying models (they're not been stacked in your favour) 2. Drive up inbound enquiries (no-one wants clicks masquerading as leads) 4. Make services simple for clients (get to market quickly) 5. Make martech accessible for all business sizes (no enterprise-sized fees) B2B customers are way more sophisticated than they used to be and they want a different experience from sellers and marketers today. I'm here to help you deliver that. Some of the most common things people raise with me are: - needing more leads - launching new products - struggling with email campaign results - getting their name known by the right people I love the balance of clever tech and human genius at Data HQ - I think we've got it spot on. E360 helped B2B software and tech companies to build their sales pipeline. Whilst the companies I worked with all had different propositions (cyber security, martech, digital transformation etc), they were all looking for growth. And they all wanted it yesterday. We had just 30 days to impress a new client, so I honed my skill for building strategies that can deliver results on tight timelines. I loved learning about their business and identifying the best sales messages for them to start new conversations, which were often slightly different from the messages they used with their existing customers. Some clients were moving into new territories, some had secured investment, others had exhausted their own private networks and were looking to go to new audiences for fresh growth. Each challenge was slightly different. I had a blast with the team here and built great friendships whilst learning so much from the businesses I got to work alongside. I got a taste for the Martech companies so I decided to seek out a role where I could develop deep expertise in this industry. Hence my next move. Show less

I helped out a previous client of mine and joined his sales team for 10 months throughout Lock down. It was a tough and difficult time both in the real world and in the sales world. I was very grateful for the opportunity with Modulex and I wish the team well. I helped out a previous client of mine and joined his sales team for 10 months throughout Lock down. • EMEA Sales Manager - Creating and Hosting Online Hospitality Events
      • Jan 2020 - Jan 2021

Joining an events firm right before Covid wasn't ideal timing! Adapting to hybrid and virtual was fun but tough. You learn a lot about yourself when challenged. Even with everything against us, we still made events happen and delivered for the industry. Through hard work and dedication, we served clients in trying times. Such an invaluable life lesson. Here's what it taught me: - Resilience. Pivoting FAST as the world shifts. Strength I didn't realise I had. - Creativity. Taking events online - reimagining experiences from scratch. Amazing what's possible. - Connections. Supporting each other and attendees through ups and downs. Community above all. Looking back, I'm proud of how we evolved and overcame hurdles. During my time there honed skills to tackle whatever's next. Show less

After leaving the police I had the amazing experience of being interviewed for my new role by Apprentice winner Lee McQueen. I managed to beat off over 100 over applicants in a full day of tasks and interviews. Getting that job was genuinely a very proud moment in my life. I was part of a great team at Excitech and made some fantastic friends. Nearly 5 years after leaving the job we still have an active group chat with is a feat in its self. Yes I was In the police, But I wasn’t a police officer and focused on the community-based side of policing. I worked in the lovely bushy suburbs of Hertfordshire so it was more Hot Fuzz then Line of Duty. I loved it but it was never a job for life. Great friends, Amazing Experiences, Horribly Underpaid. My first time and only time working in London. I joined my friends team on a short term 3 month contract and was very happy when it came to an end. I enjoyed the London life whilst I was there but the cold walks to and from the train station meant that when the contract ended I had no eager to renew my time in London. • Sales Executive / Operations Manager
      • Feb 2014 - Feb 2016

This was my first real job with meaningful responsibilities and a team to manage. It didn't start out that way - I began in telesales and worked my way up. First I joined a team launching a new online sales division for the company. From there, I was promoted to operations director. I oversaw customer installations and lead a growing team. The role was a tremendous learning experience full of challenges. I made plenty of mistakes early on but used them to get better. I forged great friendships with many colleagues that I still keep in touch with today. Show less

Job number two was a jump away from sales where I joined my friend and his dads new courier company. They needed the help and I needed the money a win win situation. I enjoyed the exploration side of this job and going to see areas of the country that I would never visit on my own accord. The early starts, late nights and 3 am call outs soon get old though. My first sales job wasn't a great start. I spent every day calling people from the phonebook to sell them double glazing windows. The way I had to push people to buy things they didn't want would probably be illegal now. It was a terrible job, but I learned a lot. I realised it's important to listen and understand what people really need, not just try to make a sale. So while my first sales experience was awful, those lessons pointed me toward work I'm better at and enjoy more. I'm grateful to my younger self for trying this tough job and learning from my mistakes. It put me on the path I'm meant to be on. Show less
