I am a Partner, Board Member and member of the firm’s three person Executive Leadership Team. I am responsible for developing strategic plans and solutions for the firm based on an evaluation of industry trends, client preferences, and technological changes. I am the executive in charge of the Finance and Accounting, Client Investment Management, Client Financial Planning, Client Business Retirement Plan Solutions, and Client Tax and Accounting divisions with management oversight of over 30 employees. I work closely with each of my direct reports to develop, implement, and monitor long-term strategic plans for each division. I am responsible for making decisions around hiring, promotions, terminations, organizational structure, and key people management related items. Additionally, I am responsible for working with each of the firm’s advisory team leaders to develop and oversee the execution of annual strategic growth and business improvement plans for each advisory team. I am responsible for the overall financial management and financial strategies of the firm, including pricing and cost containment strategies, KPI management, margin optimization, vendor negotiations, reporting, budgeting, cash management, SOX, employee compensation structures, tax strategies, and management of third-party specialists. At EY I was responsible for directing multiple audit engagements in the banking, private equity, and healthcare industries. I was in charge of over 20 employees (including direct and indirect reports). In this executive level role I developed the audit strategy and oversaw its execution. I also served as the key point of contact for my clients, developed and managed budgets, negotiated audit fees with my clients, and directed the activities of the managers, seniors, staff, and firm specialists on my teams. Additionally, I presented our audit findings to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. I worked directly with the partners to develop EY's position on complex technical accounting issues and I worked closely with my clients to help them address complex accounting issues.
