      I was involved with the TCU Upward Bound program which is under the umbrella of the Trio Programs at TCU as well as across the nation. This program assists lower-income youth who have the goal of attending college. During the summer, there is a six-week residential program where the students live oncampus. For three years, during the residential portion, I supervised the childen in the dorm as well as tutored them with the classes they had during the day. During the summer of 2010, I taught an ACT prep course for the rising sophomores and juniors. During the summer of 2011, I primarily tutored the students who were taking college classes.

Every night, we had bible study in our assigned cabin and during the morning/afternoon all of the counselors interacted daily with the youth through various activities.
