In 2019, I served as an assistant football coach for Covenant Classical School. I worked with both the MS boys and HS boys six man football teams. In 2020, I worked with primarily the MS football program and called the defense during games.In 2019, I worked with the 7th grade, 8th grade, and developmental MS basketball teams. In 2020, I serve as the Head JV basketball coach and assistant Varsity basketball coach.

I perform fitness consultations and responsibilities related to customer service, such as processing scholarships, soliciting donations for our Annual Campaign, assisting with tasks around the facility which include but aren't limited to maintaining our wellness center, engaging with members, and other clerical tasks.

TCU Upward Bound Mentor/Tutor

I was involved with the TCU Upward Bound program which is under the umbrella of the Trio Programs at TCU as well as across the nation. This program assists lower-income youth who have the goal of attending college. During the summer, there is a six-week residential program where the students live oncampus. For three years, during the residential portion, I supervised the childen in the dorm as well as tutored them with the classes they had during the day. During the summer of 2010, I taught an ACT prep course for the rising sophomores and juniors. During the summer of 2011, I primarily tutored the students who were taking college classes.

Assistant Varsity/Head Junior Varsity Basketball Coach

I assist the head coach at practices with drills and scrimmages. I also keep track of statistics during practices and during games. I post the game statistics online and report them to the local media as well. As needed and when film is available, I watch game film.

Teacher

Taught English, Spanish, Geography, Chemistry 1, and Algebra 1. As needed, I performed custodial duties. The school is an alternative high school and did not have any athletics so I signed up and then supervised the students in local recreation sports leagues (flag football in the fall and basketball in the winter/spring) in order to give the students something to do outside of school.

Counselor

I worked here for two summers. During my two summers, I primarily worked with basketball instructionals. The last week of the summer I assisted Coach Herndon from Rice with basketball camp. Also, as part of my counseling duties, I mentored youth from the ages of 7-17. Every night, we had bible study in our assigned cabin and during the morning/afternoon all of the counselors interacted daily with the youth through various activities.

College Ministry Intern

I assisted the college minister with activities directed toward college students. I planned social activities as well as community service activities. I also paid visits once a week to students encouraging to attend worship service on Thursday nights. On Tuesday nights, I led a bible study for men and assisted with bible study on Sunday nights.
