  Managed the design development and lead a team of engineers and consultants through the municipal approval process and provided preconstruction services for over 2,000 residential apartment units in 20 multifamily, mixed use and commercial projects, spanning 5 provinces, 2 territories.- Report to VP of Construction and Development- Conducted market research to identify future development opportunities and regions of interest- Oversaw the schematic site layout and completed municipal zoning analysis to aid in the land acquisition and board approval process - Involved in the financial review and proforma analysis of current and new development opportunities - Responsible for the Development Permit, Building Permit, Construction drawings and preconstruction services for developments in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Newfoundland Labrador- Manage and coordinate all professional engineering disciplines (Mechanical, electrical, structural and civil) to maintain corporate initiatives and to ensure projects are code compliant- Conduct Value​ Engineering meetings with design team and sub contractors to identify cost savings early on in the project development stages. - Communicate with marketing and leasing staff all product data and project specifications- Facilitate site issued design inquiries- Approve all engineered shop drawings- Conduct Architectural site inspections complete with detailed reports
