  At AMS, I worked with project management in mechanical contracting. AMS is primarily known for commercial HVAC work, but as of recently has branched into waste water services as well. I was able to experience all portions of completing a job. I played a big role in assembling bids by gathering quotes from subcontractors based on the job's specifications. I also got to learn the logistics involved with coordinating many different parts to create a functioning whole in order to successfully complete a project. Finally, I experienced the importance of organization while I was in charge of organizing old and new documents throughout my time with AMS. Overall, I learned the basics of contracting while improving my customer and company communication skills and developing good engineering habits that will help me in the future.
