  Manage Firestone liability as it relates to the warranty and warranted roofing systems.• Warranty Claims: Through on-site roof top investigation and analysis of common or unusual claims against warranted projects, a definitive company position is formulated and presented. In addition, the Warranty Service Specialist is responsible for development and communication of the position and may be called upon to represent Firestone/GenFlex/Gaco regarding claims as well as negotiation of settlements relative to such claims under the direction of the Director of Warranty Services.• Post Warranty Alterations and Photovoltaic Installations: Verify that any alterations being made to a warranted roof system are adequately documented, meet current warranty specifications, do not adversely affect the performance of the roofing system, and are archived for accurate record keeping. If necessary, coordinate job site visits by a Field Technical Representative for verification purposes. • Project Management: Manage roof repair and replacement projects from start to finish. This includes scheduling site visits for Technical Representatives to review current conditions, creating scopes-of-work, creating bid specifications, putting projects out to bid, awarding bids, hosting pre-construction meetings, ordering and shipping of materials, managing any issues that arise during construction, verifying that work w as performed according to specifications, and finalizing all projects.• Training: Assist with training new Warranty Services Specialists.
