Founded the global music media company, Pitchfork, and served alternately as its CEO and Editor-in-Chief from 1996 to 2019. While there, I launched an international series of music festivals and events, including the annual Pitchfork Music Festivals in Chicago and Paris, the Pitchfork stage at Barcelona's Primavera Sound Festival, and collorations with MoMA/PS1, The New Museum, and the Museum of the Art Institute of Chicago, among others. In 2015, I oversaw Pitchfork's acquisition by Condé Nast and transitioned our New York team from its loft in Greenpoint to its new home in One World Trade Center.
