      My responsibilities as an engineer for the City of Cudahy are very similar to that of the ones I had as an intern. As a full time employee, the decision making aspect of the job increases greatly along with all other responsibilities. These include, but are not limited to:Surveying city infrastructure for design.Reviewing and designing plans for road, sewer, and water infrastructure. Construction staking and inspection for sewer, water, and road projects. Applying for grants and other funding opportunities through the DNR, MMSD, and other agencies. Performing lead inspector and project manager duties on large construction projects. Communicating with residents and the general public to solve problems.
