- Gr. 10 Civics CHV2OUsed similar variety of teaching methods as at Sir Wilfrid Laurier, however, I also experimented a bit more with online resources and incorporating different websites into the classroom which also included interactive knowledge-based games and videos.- Gr. 12 History CHY4UUsed a variety of different methods within the classroom; however, more focus was given to classroom events or “simulations” of real world events. Gave further focus to classroom debates and using, in some cases, university level material to great effect.Due to this being a university level class, a bit more focus was also given to lectures and creating materials to assist in teaching the students not just course material, but also on how to take proper lecture notes and how to condense material into key points.- Resource AreaIn the resource area I dealt with many students in a more one-on-one setting. Students often had minor learning disabilities or behavioral problems and required special attention to finish assignments or understand course content.
