  The Cahill Group is a commercial construction company based out of St.John's, Newfoundland, and Labrador. The Cahill group is involved in many major commercial construction projects in the province in both electrical and mechanical construction. I was lucky enough to be involved as a student with The Cahill Group on-site at the Corner Brook Acute care Hospital project. Some tasks I had completed during my time there are as follows: - Operation of 3D scanner to create virtual models of an as-built building. - Mapping and in-depth knowledge of both plumbing and HVAC systems. - Worked with understanding and teaching of Building Automation Systems (BAS). - Safety assisted construction and testing of mechanical systems on-site of a commercial building.
