After six months of experience, I was offered a job as the stock manager, which I politely declined as I enjoyed and excelled at dealing with customers. After a year, I was offered an assistant manager job, which I could not take on because that required at least thirty-five hours per week which I could not reasonably sustain while simultaneously attending school. After a year and a half I was offered the manager job at my store because the current manager was leaving, which again I unfortunately could not take because I was shortly leaving for college and I did not want to insult my district manager but immediately leaving the company after a promotion.
