I have had the pleasure of working with Ryan since his freshman year when he joined the OMN marketing team as a marketing associate. He was eager to learn and willing to volunteer for any and all marketing projects to build his skills. Two years later, Ryan was selected as the marketing lead by the OMN student leaders. He did an amazing job leading the marketing team, injecting innovative ideas on ways to promote OMN's six different mediums and developing his teams' skills and leadership. During the pandemic when everyone was working remote, Ryan instituted "marketing hour" where once a week, members of team would log into Zoom and hang out. These sessions allowed the team to connect with one another, enhance communication within the team and be more productive. As a result of Ryan's leadership, two of his marketing associates went on to lead teams of their own the following year. Last year, when I decided to create the sales lead position at OMN, I reached out to Ryan to see if he would be interested in applying for the position. The OMN student leaders selected Ryan as the first OMN sales lead. As sales lead, Ryan grew our customer base, created new sales bundles, trained the team of account executives, helped them exceed their six month sales quota and trained his successor. At this early stage of his career, Ryan has already demonstrated excellent leadership, marketing and sales expertise. Ryan will be a great asset to any company, helping them connect with their customers, grow their business and assemble/develop teams of talented individuals.

Ryan is an excellent team player and leader, which is demonstrated through his continued effort to develop those around him. Working side-by-side with him as Co-Presidents of the Oregon State Marketing Club allowed me to not only see him lead others, but gave me the opportunity to learn and collaborate with him in many ways. In this position it was essential to be an active collaborator, have strong communication, and be reliable. Not only was he great at completing the task at hand, but continued to demonstrate his motivation in growing the club as well as his ability to work with others towards a common goal. Ryan is truly one of my favorite people to collaborate with, and I look forward to opportunities to work with him again.
