I work with fellow educators and students to create and update the curriculum in a manner that best meets the needs of students and the strengths of fellow team members while also following educational standards and objectives. I assist and lead in the development of lessons and activities that aim to improve student achievement. I help fellow educators with their instruction and management of their classrooms and time. I provide leadership when necessary by offering suggestions and modeling lessons. I lead team meetings where we analyze data from our students in a way that allows us to better understand learner struggles and challenges. Then based on our analysis, I help lead conversations where we make decisions on future strategies to improve achievement. I collect and analyze date from student assessments in order to identify trends, strengths and weaknesses from the student population as well as other educators in order to track the effectiveness and success of our strategies. I foster an environment amongst team members where we can freely exchange ideas and best practices in a way where everyone feels heard and feels like they have a part in the success we experience as a team. I create an atmosphere where we as a team are constantly self-assessing and looking for ways to improve. I believe in a constant growth mindset and encourage ideas that can help grow our team and achievement. I maintain a professional environment where team members feel included and supported. To do this, I collect and analyze data. Then, I create lessons based on best practices and what I feel best will affect the learning of students.
