In my time working with Ryan at Bertucci’s Italian Restaurant, I have been able to see him truly excel in his managerial role. Ryan is the epitome of customer service and hospitality, a quality that extends from his dealings with the restaurant guests to his working relationships with the employees. His communication style is concise, yet warm and inviting. I was particularly impressed with Ryan’s willingness to help in my learning and development when I was new at the restaurant, even though he was not my direct manager. He is always willing to go above and beyond to get the work done, even if it calls for actions outside of his responsibilities. A recent example of this is when one of the restaurant’s dishwashers was not able to make it to work and Ryan, without hesitation, provided coverage in the dish room, on top of his manager duties. On that particular night, Ryan was at the restaurant well after all other employees and still showed up the next day with the same inviting smile and attitude. I continue to enjoy working with Ryan and am confident that, with his hospitable sensibility, his enduring work ethic, and his excellent attitude, he will succeed in any role that he finds himself.
