      Duties included onsite computer support for over 30 clients. Clients ranged from home/small offices to publicly traded international companies. I was also responsible for project design and implementation including network assessments, server setups, office moves, hardware/software upgrades, and backup solutions. Smaller projects were often handled by one person, while larger projects required teams of up to 6.I spent approximately one year providing full-time onsite support at an international oil and gas firm at their head office in Calgary with a team of 3 other Curwen employees. We provided desk side support for up to 30 employees and contractors in the Calgary head office, as well as telephone based server and application support for up to 150 users in South America.Onsite duties included Windows 2003 Server deployment and maintenance; Exchange 2007 email and Active Directory administration for Calgary and South American based users; Windows XP and Office 2003 user support; and computer and printer hardware support and troubleshooting.We also worked on specific projects including a migration to an Asterisk based PBX telephone system; deployment of an Openfire based internal messaging service; deployment of the ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus helpdesk software including user training; and deployment of the OpenProj project management software on various Windows and Linux based servers.Remote duties included working with Wellpoint Systems (Now P2 Energy Solutions) to provide support for the oil and gas accounting software IDEAS used by the company. This system was deployed to Calgary and South American based users through a Citrix Presentation Server which we also maintained and supported. We also provided remote desktop support for South American users as required.
