I worked with Ryan for 1 year at Sunshine Events and can honestly say that he is one of the most dedicated, kind-hearted and caring individuals I have ever met. Whether you need help with a personal issue, to coordinate an event or simply need a spark of creativity, it's Ryan Lee who you turn to. Ryan combines his incredible talent for people and communications skills with an extraordinary sense of strategy and timing. His dedication to Sunshine Events and the Fun Experts shines through and he has made a positive impact to those around him. I cannot recommend Ryan enough. He is simply a superstar in her field and I am grateful to have worked with him.

The company would continue to grow and through my own growth alongside the company, i would come to integrate myself as the Logistics Manager at Sunshine Events. The role would see accountability over the Events Team and ensuring continued high quality delivery of our company core values both internally and to our customers.Supporting the Sales Team through logistics from a history of product knowledge, health & safety, event experience and so on.During my time within this position, I would take on other duties that would include Human Resources and Web Development, which along with my event and logistical background with the company, would path the way to my next step with Sunshine Events. As the company would begin to grow, my knowledge, commitment and passion allowed me to steadily integrate in to what would become the newly formed Logistics Dept, creating a role very much needed at the time.During this time, it was through the shared dedication of Fun Experts that went toward forming the Logistics Department at that time. Introducing key efficiency through new systems and processes, the team was developed to support the Events Team, Sales Team and customers.New systems introduced at the time, revolutionised the operation of Sunshine Events ensuring that our brand and high quality service as pitched by our dedicated sales team, could be delivered on the day by the Events Team.During this time, further confidence and experience was gained in dealing with customers (both face to face, telephone and email) and venue contacts. As part of the Events Team, the role of the Fun Expert is exactly as the title suggests! Travelling the nation attending a variety of events to supply fun in the shape of event equipment hire. This would include equipment such as Photo Booths, Inflatables, Rodeo Simulators, Theming and so much more at events including Team Building, Weddings, Corporate Events, Functions and more.Attending these events, you would be the face of the company; not just the role of the equipment, but it was yourself that would truly deliver the fun and high quality service a customer could trust.Experience during this time would include customer satisfaction, health & safety, product knowledge, team work, initiative, problem solving and trust building. Other skills and experiences gained during this time included compering, public speaking and event management. Show less

The wilderness before finding my feet. Experiences, relationship building, enjoying my late teens to early twenties. Instead of boring you with pizza restaurants and call centres, sorry they're both plural, in truth it was one of each. So before starting my career there were two jobs between leaving college and today, and to be fair I gained a lot from these 6 years or so. The former of the two only lasted about 8 months before I moved on to the call centre - a move based on following friends in a workplace 😬 In fairness I loved this job and the tips, I made more on these than I did the wage. Which says a lot about what I gave to the role I suppose. Here at a younger age I learned so much about people from language (both in body and tone), entertaining, service and a human approach to everything - customers and colleagues. And of the latter of the two, well everyone has a fun story from working in a call centre right! But I'll save that for another time. I spent a fair few years here and I took from this what everyone else does in these environments - the friendships. But this time also, in hindsight, buried something deeper which has been allowed to flourish in my career and that is the respect, the time, the passion for people. Show less
