Ryan and I work next to each other in a shared office space. Although our startups aim for completely different markets, Ryan's advice and experience has assisted CollegeAI with product pricing, customer acquisition strategies, network growth, technical architecture issues and many other challenges that face early stage startups. Ryan is always learning and applying advice from business experts, this complements his strong technical abilities. He's also very fun to have around and the guy you'll want to celebrate your successes with!

Primary product & engineering leader managing a team of 3 engineers. Responsible for all system architecture and design. Also responsible for UI/UX, user testing, customer interviews, prototyping, and product management. Some projects we've worked on recently include: - Block-based collaborative document editor (similar to Notion) using CRDTs. Technologies used: React, Tiptap, Rails, Hocuspocus, Redis, websockets - Intelligent no-code form generator to ask companies personalized questions. As a company answers more questions our system gets more intelligent, asking more relevant questions over time. We built a no-code platform to allow consultants and our partners to create their own workflows. - Declarative 3rd party integration system that allows us to create new API integrations with a simple YAML file. - Scalable multi-channel notification manager that sends custom notifications to individual users or groups on a user-defined schedule. - Omnibox search using Postgres' full text search capabilities across models. - Bespoke component library to allow us to rapidly build frontend experiences in a 50K+ LOC React project. - Migration of strategyhero.io from Gatsby to Webflow Our tech stack: Rails, React (ES2019), PostgreSQL, Sidekiq, Redis, Hocuspocus, Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, GitlabCI Our design stack: Figma, Invision, Canva, Icons8, Webflow Show less
