Here at Sapentia, I am able to liaise with clientele in-person, but of course via Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet too! During these meetings, we can provide a huge range of support and information, in order to assist them with any issues or queries they may have. This role mainly consists of helping our clients navigate through Odoo, and showing them what it is able to facilitate. We are always working in conjunction with our developers, who sometimes also sit in on meetings, so we can talk with them about customising things which are not available or accessible "off the shelf". the first 12 months of this role consisted of shadowing the current S.M, when I felt confident enough I could carry out the same duties, I was then offered the opportunity to be service manager / advisor at another location / branch within the company. During the third year of my undergraduate degree, I took the opportunity to work as an ELA for the British Council, this consists of an apprenticeship, working part-time, in education in a foreign country. For me, I was positioned in Uni Norte, Barranquilla, as an ELA to 2 different professors. My post consisted of assisting adult learners with their English, I attended Business English classes with one teacher, and English Language with another. During these lessons, I'd often help with activities, and design new ways of learning via games, presentations, I also helped teaching dialect with different accents. This role gave me the opportunity to immerse myself within a foreign country, and culture. I developed my language skills exponentially. I also gained a lot more confidence in teaching different ages. I learned a lot about how to apply what I have learned, and utilise it when teaching others. I built many professional relationships, with a great network of colleagues during my time here. I was also able to further develop my level of organisation, and I learned how to teach with the use of computers, via games such as "Kahoot" etc. One of my duties whilst in this role, was to produce an "Agenda Cultural" once each month. This cultural agenda presentation, had pre-requisites to teach simple facts about a topic of my choice, which may appeal to students attending the University.| These topics ranged from: learning about my favourite sport (Formula 1), to talking about different types of "Slang" vocabulary within various regions in the UK. These presentations significantly helped me organically develop teaching skills. I achieved this by: applying what I know and love, and breaking it down in to intelligible, interesting information, for others to digest. Show less

I began my role here as a full time member of staff, as I had just finished the initial year of my undergraduate degree, so I was able to work more. I gained a substantial amount of experience within this role, with regards to dealing with a variety of customers, on a daily basis. This role significantly assisted me in developing my communicational skills, along with my confidence, and my ability to diffuse tense situations in a social setting. I learned how to work on the bar, how to close down the pub at the end of a shift, what checks to carry out during a shift, and during closing, I also learned a lot about health and safety procedures of working in a Pub, with food, and alcohol. Initially, I began working at Tesco Extra, Bursledon Towers: as a personal shopper in the Dot Com department. I then went on to gain experience within other departments of the store, such as: warehouse, clothing, electrical, front tills, PFS. Ultimately, I took the test to become a Delivery Driver for Dot Com. This is the position I held for nearly 2 and a half years, further building on face-to-face relations with customers, representing a company, and its' reputation outside of the work place, I also learned how different items were stored and organised.
