Ryan is one of the mature students that I've taught to show best improvement over his study at LJMU. When he is focused, he can solve a lot of problems thrown at him. He is persistent and dedicated. Do not judge him by his appearance.

Myself and 3 other students visited Studio Surgical Scalpels for one week so that we could start working on a Virtual Reality Demo for the studio's upcoming game Project Boundary. It was my job to design and implement a basic physics manager actor to handle all spawning and deleting of physics actors in the scene, these actors will spawn into the level dynamically and be deleted when they are no longer needed.I also had to implement a grab/release system for the HTC Vive controller so when the player looks at certain objects in the scene i.e. a gun the gun will then be highlighted blue when the player is within the pick up distance. When the player presses the grip button on the Vive controller the object is then snapped to the controller position. Once the player then releases the grip button the object will be released with physics correct velocity, so if the player throws the object with force then the object will fly away but if the player just releases the grip button then the object will fall to the floor.
