      • Aug 2014 - Feb 2016

My role as a sales consultant saw me interviewing the customer so as to discover both their needs and wants, thereby allowing me to make an apt customer tailored recommendation. I gained experience not only in inventory and company knowledge whilst employed with CarMax, but in financing as well. I worked with each financial institution (whether in-house or outside sources) to obtain approvals that best fit my customer’s situations. If necessary, I partnered with management to verify any documentation required by said institutions as a stipulation to the approval.

    • Lands' End Consultative Sales Associate
      • Aug 2012 - Aug 2014

The retail experience I gained was expansive and all-encompassing when it came to sales in apparel as both an individual entity and a team in the Lands’ End Shop. My individual work saw me managing the department: tracking daily sales data, assisting customers with both in-store and catalog purchases, and attending to the recovery or visual reset of the sales floor upon the reception of new planograms. The dynamic as a team saw those aforementioned duties divided amongst two to four sales associates: an experience that helped me to provide information and feedback to my team that was thorough, informative, and innovative (when need be).
