Worked in the field at a New England Hospital where the device is being used. Job required entering patient rooms, and downloading data from each bedside monitor so it could be analyzed to ensure proper functioning. Secondary role was troubleshooting any problems and making onsite fixes. Another aspect was answering product questions from hospital staff, patients, and families. Early on I realized a problem; I had to enter over 100 patient rooms, this included entering contact precaution rooms. Working with the Field Support Services Supervisor, our solution was too remotely download all pertinent data using a command code on cygwin terminal. This eliminated entering patient rooms potentially disturbing patients and families, using PPE intended for hospital staff, and stopped any interference with healthcare providers.
