Ryan was a great mentor and a patient teacher: he was always willing to teach me a new technique, proof-read my documents or discuss ideas on new experiments or research avenues.. His enthusiasm and good nature was infectious in the lab. He is knowledgeable and creative in his approach to science and research. Ryan is always up for scientific debate and discussion while respecting other's views and opinions. I enjoyed working with him and enthusiastically recommend him as a scientist.
