Ink Lab Technician
-
Sep 2014 - Nov 2016
I started in the bagging department where we inspect the completed parts, and sort them into bags for shipping. Then, I moved to the punch press where we used a large industrial die cutter to stamp out the parts, I was in this department for about 9 months, I then applied for ink lab technician where i need to make inks for various jobs based on customer specs. I match colors, and trouble shoot. If an ink doesn't come out correctly, I look at it and determine what ingredient to add to make it correct. I have to be organized and structured, and determine which inks need to go out first based on the schedule the machines are running. This is a job with a large amount of responsibility and dependability.
