Ryan manages the Software QA group at Ventripoint, and is recognized for his keen attention to detail during the final critical stages of a product’s release to production. Because Ryan is also very willing to help out whenever possible, he can often be found leading the team in our manufacturing facility, training fellow co-workers on aspects of various quality standards (IEC 60601, ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820), or sometimes just helping to unload deliveries. Ryan’s personality is also a huge contributor to his success at Ventripoint. While he is driven and passionate about his work, he does not let his ego get in the way of doing what is right for the company. In a company of less than 10 people, this is a critical personality trait. I thoroughly enjoy working with Ryan and know that he would make an immediate contribution to any team.

It is my pleasure to recommend Ryan Graham. Ryan and I worked together at Congruent, where he was a senior SDET and SDET Manager. Ryan was a seasoned and very strong SDET and his knowledge was instrumental in our winning several contracts. Additionally, he was reliable and a good presence in the office. I both recommend him and would work with him again.

In fall of 1999 I was hired full time at Microsoft on the Application Center Server team. This was version 1.0 product and allowed me to build a UI test infrastructure from the ground up. I used the Visual Test 4.0 core engine for automation purposes, but set aside the built in suite manager and execution engine for one I wrote myself.I was responsible for writing and reviewing test specifications, reviewing product specifications, designing and developing test scenarios, and having the test code reviewed by my peers. I built close relationships with the UI developers and members of Program Management to ensure the UI was as usable and stable as possible. Many of my concerns and suggestions had a direct impact on the end product... continued...

While contracting at Microsoft through VOLT I was assigned to the Internet Information Server test team. My original responsibilities were to support the lead user interface tester by designing and developing usage test cases in Visual Test 4.0. Over time I was given the responsibility of responding to Build Verification Test failures. This involved time critical debugging of test code, reporting my findings to the designated developer, assisting in debugging the product code, and testing any necessary fix. Day to day responsibilities included running the test code I owned, reporting bugs, following up with developers on these bugs, as well as testing private binaries. By the end of my tenure as a contractor at Microsoft I was responsible for the entire UI test endeavor. My responsibilities had grown to writing and reviewing test specifications as well as reviewing product specifications, attending status meetings for my team and training new hires... continued...
