Ryan is an incredibly capable animator whose rock solid understanding of the fundamentals, in-depth technical knowledge, and endless drive to learn and improve allow him to dissect and solve any problem, whether that be as large scale and complex as designing an entire facial animation pipeline or as small-scale and individually impactful as helping his teammates improve their work through detailed critiques and tireless mentorship. From the first day Ryan and I met, he selflessly gave me as much time as I needed to ask him questions, watch him demonstrate new techniques, or discuss with him various industry and craft-specific subjects. The knowledge I gained from those patient demos and countless conversations helped me grow more in the last year than I would have been able to on my own. His constant enthusiasm in the face of any issue, no matter how daunting; his unwavering commitment to building up the people around him -- these are the unique traits that make Ryan a truly superb and indispensable addition to any production. Ryan planted the seeds of excellence both in our team and in us, as individuals, through his unmatched expertise and deep empathy. He will make a profoundly positive impact on your team that will continue to be felt long after he has been gone. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
