Bio
Nicolas J. Mornard
Ryan is a great UI/UX Engineer. I managed Ryan for over a year, time during which he proved to be extremely reliable, autonomous and proactive. Ryan took over the Team Leadership anytime I wasn't available, or needed to delegate responsibilities. He helped juniors and interns grow in their fields, thanks to his deep understanding of the Unreal Engine, and development best practices. At TLM, Ryan developed UI/UX features for a AAA VR Project, including an Avatar Customization System. The project had challenging deadlines, ever changing requirements and technical issues. Yet Ryan systematically delivered on time. He then took ownership of the UI/UX of a AAA project, to port it to a new platform. This project was even more challenging, as it ran on a proprietary Engine, with limited support. His autonomy, proactiveness and willingness to take responsibilities make Ryan easy to manage, and delegate to. I would often redirect developers toward him to answer their questions or unblock them. I would not hesitate to work with Ryan again, and I would recommend him to any Studio. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me for any question or for a reference.
