  Directly responsible for all video & audio signals in operation at Prairie Meadows, as well as final approval of all post-production projects leaving the department. Oversees display inventory. Responsible for developing & managing the Television Department’s budget. Must recognize capital needs, create & maintain an equipment replacement schedule, budget for an entire racing season, & make certain the TV department falls within the approved yearly budget. Serves as the producer/director of all live productions. Responsible for all casino digital signage. Produces any & all non-racing, live broadcasts such as concerts, special events, & promotions. Serves as a television engineer when needed. Oversees the operation and installation of all TV equipment on property. Must have to ability to order, install, & maintain equipment as needed. Coordinates all external client audio/visual requests. Manages the Senior Production Specialist & the entire Television Department personnel. Conducts the interviewing, promotions, coaching, termination, & wage increases of ALL television personnel. Coordinate video productions and equipment installation with other involved internal departments to ensure understanding and cooperative execution. Has the ability to multi-task, insuring a clean, error free video signal from our facility. Manages the in-house cable system. Attends all video shoots and post-production edit sessions to ensure all specifications required by Prairie Meadows are met. Knowledgeable with Grass Valley Kayak switchers, Panasonic HD cameras, Viz Graphic Systems, Allen & Heath Audio, AVID Media Composer editing system, International Sound Hard Drive stewards feed recorders, Trans-Lux ProMedia, Canon 7D cameras, Adobe Photoshop.
